    Special education is the method by which special need children receive education acknowledging their physical and mental disabilities. Children with such disabilities need special training and instruction by well-trained special educators. The special educators are trained in specific disabilities that include – learning disabilities, speech and language impairments, autism spectrum disorders, cognitive impairments, emotional and behavioural disorders, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, chronic medical illnesses, and any condition that affects optimal education of the child.

      • Define Teaching Learning Material (TLM) according to the needs of the student.
      • Undertake several case studies and follow up on the same.
      • Counselling of parents and regular teachers of the student and maintain the record of it.

      • Encourage and motivate their participation in various activities to boost their self-esteem.
