Learning Difficulties Developmental Issues
Developmental IssuesParents often get confused with learning difficulties and disabilities. Every child is unique and can have varied learning patterns. This may include slow learning, short attention span, low retaining power leading to low academic performance. Parents are the first to observe such variations and struggle for a solution to it. Mostly, kids with learning difficulties are as smart and intelligent as other children but just need to be taught in ways that are modified to their unique learning styles.

There is no harm in getting a detailed assessment by an expert if the parents or the schoolteacher finds any learning difficulty in the child. The parents should try to always act early or at least talk about the problem as soon as they notice because early assessment and intervention are always beneficial.
