    Stage Details

At around 14 weeks of pregnancy, baby's placenta is totally developed and functional. Placenta basically supplies, nutrients, oxygen and remove carbon dioxide and waste material by filtering them from placenta tissues.Little one also starts hiccupping up inside your womb.

    Pregnancy Symptoms

Now as the pregnancy proceeds, some symptoms will subside while some will start showing their effect on you. Now, you may experience symptoms like:

    • Increase in appetite: This is common during second trimester as morning sickness and nausea will fade away and craving will pick up. Now the mommy in you will just start eating well, especially nutritious diet.
    • Mood swings: you may be emotional ,and get easily upset by little things, because of hormonal imbalances.

    Exercise and physical activity

Congratulations! You have begun your second trimester. This is an achievement but still there is more road to a healthy pregnancy. Now, you should try and aim for 30 minutes of moderate exercise (that means taking a walk, low impact aerobics, yoga etc.). This can even cut down many of those annoying pregnancy side effects such as varicose veins, backaches, bloating, and swelling.
