    Stage Details

    Hello anxious mommy-to-be. Your anxiety is obvious as now you are very close to your days of labor and it can come anytime. You have reached a full term and your baby is fully developed and ready to meet you. I’m sure you must be waiting eagerly to hear the first loud cry of your baby which confirms normal breathing. 


    Pregnancy Symptoms  

    You are closing now to the completion of your pregnancy, and may experience following:  Labor symptoms: You now need to keep a very close watch on labor symptoms like release of mucus plug, release of water, intense contractions with cervical dilations etc. Whenever you feel the uterine contractions and so its pain, just get prepared and go to the hospital immediately. 


    Exercise and physical activity

    During these final days of pregnancy, prepare your body for labor. Don’t be anxious or stress. Recall child birth classes.Practice pelvic floor exercises, breathing and relaxation techniques. These may help you a lot to prepare for labor. 


    Things to do this week 

    • Prepare yourself for labor and arrange for full time support for few days 
    • Ensure the availability of your doctor with the hospital 
    • Clear all your doubts about labor, birth and after-birth care 
    • Stay alert and consult your doctor if there is anything unusual. 
    • Enjoy a massage for puffy ankle.  
    • Try to use chemical free products 
    • Do everything within your comfort level and do not exert yourself.  
    • Eat healthily, sleep well and stay active.  
    • Try to relax.
