    Your Pregnancy Week by Week

    Stage Details 

    Hey glowing lady! You must be super excited for the upcoming days. Just hold your excitement for few more days, as you have now completed 35 weeks of your pregnancy and within few more days your bundle of joy will be in your arms. As far as the development of your baby is concerned, shredding of baby's body hairs and cheesy covering called vernix caseosa starts by now. Baby's immune system continue to develop by antibodies received from mothers’ body.             

     

    Pregnancy Symptoms 

    During these final days of your pregnancy, you should be more cautious and observe every sign of your body very carefully. You may experience following late-pregnancy signs and discomforts: 

    •  Vaginal discharge: If you observe any watery fluid i.e. amniotic fluid or mucus tinged blood or blood as vaginal discharge, consult your doctor immediately as it can be a sign of preterm labor.  
    • Other symptoms: By this time, you may have started feeling better in terms of breathing discomfort. There can be further increase in frequency of urination. You may also feel some pelvic discomfort. This is just a sign that your pregnancy is entering its final phase.  


    Exercise and physical activity

    These are the final days of your pregnancy and you must be feeling discomfort and difficulty in walking, getting up or lying down. But even in this situation, you should not stop exercise, walk or yoga . Also, continue practicing deep breathing and relaxation techniques .Do some pelvic floor exercises to strengthen the muscles which support your bladder. Ensure to take some rest. keep your feet elevated and try to sleep on the left side to maintain proper blood circulation. Do everything in limit and do not exhaust yourself with any exercise.  


    Things to do this week

    • Schedule weekly medical checkups with your doctor 
    • Clear all your doubts regarding labor and baby care 
    • Talk to your birth partner to be on your side during the upcoming stressful days 
    • Stay comfortable and do not exert yourself.  
    • Eat healthily, sleep well and stay active.
