    Your Pregnancy Week by Week

    Stage Details

As every day passes, your baby is growing and getting ready for the outer world. As you enter 27th week of pregnancy, the brain of your baby is growing very fast and will soon reach to its final stage of tuning. Baby also starts opening eyelid and begins to distinguish between light and shadows.

    Pregnancy Symptoms

On entering 27th week of pregnancy, you can probably experience some of the late-pregnancydiscomforts like:

    • Wide and big areola: Your breasts and areola are getting ready for breast feeding. Areola will grow wide and bigger to help your baby enjoy breast feeding after coming out of your womb.
    • Mood swings: Even at this stage of your pregnancy, there can be extreme changes in your mood and behavior. You may feel a bit emotional or aggressive at times. The reason for your short temperedness, irritation and unusual behavior is just enjoying inside your body. Don’t be surprised if you are smiling at one moment while the other moment you are sad or stressed out. Just relax and let the pregnancy show its is important to identify between okay to not okay.
    • Vivid dreams: Apart from other symptoms, you can have vivid dreams too. This is just because of your pregnancy phase and will vanish soon.
    • Urinary incontinence: You may feel occasional urinary incontinence like peeing on sneezing.

This is just because of the pressure put by uterus on bladder and will soon go away on its own.

    Exercise and physical activity

Exercise, walk and yoga is very important during pregnancy and should be continued for as long as possible. There are following myths about exercise during pregnancy that should be ignored:

Do everything in limit and do not exhaust yourself with any exercise.
